Once registered and you have specified the amount you wish to donate, choose “Dedicate my donation”. Under the next prompt, which says, “In honor of,” enter “transdermal estradiol”. If your donation is part of a matching donation, include the name of the matching donor.
All funds donated are specifically to support research staff, and the publication costs of research findings. No funds go to any of the PhD and MD researchers associated with the E-I program. If you have any questions about donations, contact richard.wassersug@ubc.ca
About SURF
Our funds are managed by the U.S.-based non-profit Schellhammer Urological Research Foundation (SURF) in Virginia, which was established in 1978 to help urological researchers “develop more accurate diagnostic tests and successful treatment strategies for patients with diseases of the urogenital system, particularly prostate cancer.”
US citizens or donors elsewhere, who have US income, may claim the donation as a charitable donation for tax purposes upon receiving a receipt from SURF.
